In a major step forward for enterprise data accessibility, **Gieni AI by Orderfox** has officially joined forces with **Microsoft Copilot**, bringing powerful, real-time industry data intelligence directly into the Microsoft ecosystem. This integration marks a pivotal moment for decision-makers across industries who rely on complex market data but are too often hindered by fragmented systems, outdated reports, and reactive insights. Unveiled as part of Microsoft Build 2025, Gieni will be **featured** as one of the next-generation AI capabilities inside Copilot. This spotlight not only highlights the technical sophistication behind the integration but underscores a broader shift toward verticalized AI tools that meet the nuanced needs of B2B and industrial users. For years, enterprises have struggled with data systems that are too generic to be useful. Procurement officers, strategy leads, and market analysts alike have found themselves navigating a patchwork of sources, manually stitching together intelligence that often arrives too late to inform action. Gieni changes that equation entirely. Soon to be fully embedded into tools like Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Word, Gieni offers a conversational interface capable of answering strategic questions from supplier discovery to competitive benchmarking. Unlike traditional BI tools, Gieni builds answers in the flow of questions — fast, contextual, and tailored for industrial logic. At the heart of Gieni's value is its unique combination of proprietary structured and semi-structured B2B company data, a vector search architecture that boosts zero-shot reasoning, and a user experience that feels native within Microsoft Copilot. With the addition of Gieni Reports, users can export enriched lead lists directly into sales and marketing workflows, making insights not just accessible, but immediately actionable. "The real innovation here isn't just the data, it's the delivery," said CRO Timur Goreci. "Gieni will live where enterprise teams already work. There's no learning curve, no toggling between systems. You ask, and you get intelligence that moves the business forward." This is all part of our broader vision to democratize industrial intelligence. Not just faster access to data but smarter, more intuitive decision-making for every professional user. While Gieni leads this announcement, it's part of a broader platform strategy at Orderfox. Its sister product, Partfox, continues to support manufacturing and sourcing teams with automation-first intelligence, helping organizations streamline procurement and operations. Together, they reflect Orderfox's commitment to building category-defining tools for the next generation of vertical AI. --- ### Uncover the Unknown: Gieni AI by Orderfox Presented as a Reference Case at Microsoft BUILD 2025 **Date**: 14/05/2025 | **Category**: Events & Conferences The AI agent for innovative market intelligence is among the first integrations of the new Model Context Protocol (MCP) within Microsoft Copilot Studio. **Zurich, Switzerland, 13 May 2025** – At Microsoft BUILD 2025, the AI agent Gieni AI by Orderfox – a leading provider of AI-based solutions for big-data-driven market analysis and procurement – will be presented as a reference integration of one of the first Model Context Protocols (MCP) within Microsoft Copilot Studio. This future-oriented solution for vertical Agentic AI now provides industry-relevant market, competition, and risk data directly within the Microsoft ecosystem – fast, contextual, and seamlessly embedded in existing workflows. Business leaders in areas such as procurement, strategy, and market research are often confronted with data landscapes that are fragmented, siloed, and difficult to access. Information is frequently incomplete, poorly connected, and too slow to become actionable. At the same time, many companies still rely on conventional research methods, which are tedious, time-consuming, and prone to error. Legacy tools further exacerbate the issue: they often provide only superficial insights, lack integration, and require manual interpretation – a clear competitive disadvantage in an era where speed and precision are essential. "Traditional AI language models, as we know them today, have not been able to independently access external tools, databases, or APIs", says Timur Göreci, CRO at Orderfox. "With the new, open, and standardized Model Context Protocol, that reality has fundamentally shifted. AI agents can now perform autonomous actions, proactively access external data sources and tools, and interact with other AI agents – in our case, directly within Microsoft Copilot Studio." ## Gieni AI as a Reference for Vertical AI Integration The Microsoft BUILD Conference takes place from 19 to 22 May in Seattle, USA, and offers insights into the current state and future development of vertical AI agent integrations. Gieni AI will be presented as a reference implementation of one of the first MCPs within Microsoft Copilot Studio. "Our solution tackles the complexity of fragmented data landscapes with precise, context-aware information – in real time and seamlessly integrated into Microsoft applications. Gieni AI delivers answers to questions users didn't even know they needed to ask," explains Timur Göreci. "The collaboration with Microsoft is far more than a technical collaboration – it serves as a blueprint for the productive deployment of vertical AI in the enterprise environment." Andrew Reid, Global Partner Solutions Director at Microsoft Switzerland: *"The integration of Gieni AI into Microsoft Copilot Studio delivers context-aware, agent-based intelligence through a unified enterprise platform. By leveraging Copilot Studio's extensibility, Gieni AI enables autonomous agents to access external data and deliver industry-specific insights, transforming fragmented data into real-time intelligence for smarter decision-making."* ## Gieni AI: Technology and Capabilities With Gieni AI, Orderfox offers one of the first fully integrated vertical AI agents for market intelligence within Microsoft Copilot. The Data Hack You Need to Stay Ahead! **Date**: 18/03/2025 | **Category**: Market Intelligence In today's fast-moving industrial landscape, equipment wholesalers play a crucial role. But with increasing competition and shifting customer demand, relying on outdated market insights is no longer enough. In today's fast-moving industrial landscape, equipment wholesalers play a crucial role in connecting suppliers with end users across industries like **construction, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, and logistics**. But with increasing competition, fluctuating supply chains, and shifting customer demand, relying on outdated market insights or gut instinct is no longer enough. The most successful wholesalers aren't just **managing supply chains, they're mastering them** by using **real-time data intelligence** to track demand trends, optimize procurement strategies, and uncover new revenue opportunities before their competitors do. The problem? Many wholesalers are still **guessing their way through supplier selection, sales targeting, and inventory management**, while others are **quietly using data to outmaneuver the competition.** Instead of blindly sourcing equipment from suppliers who might not deliver when it matters most, Gieni gives you **deep visibility into supplier networks**, helping you assess reliability, pricing strategies, and trade relationships at a glance. Orderfox develops and operates intelligent AI-based solutions that significantly increase efficiency and precision in the business and production areas of industry, including for manufacturing, robotics, supply chain, and construction. The company's products include Partfox, the world's largest AI-based matching network for the manufacturing industry, and Gieni, the world's first AI agent that provides in-depth market insights into all industrial sectors in just a few seconds. Orderfox was founded in 2016 and has to date been financed exclusively by shareholders. ## Gieni: Big data market analysis for all industries Orderfox's Gieni, which full-launched its v2 earlier this month, enables companies to carry out AI-powered industry analyses, business optimisations, and competitive analyses with extraordinary speed and cost-efficiency. This can be seamlessly integrated into existing CRMs, giving businesses valuable, up-to-date information where it best suits them. As a B2B AI agent, Gieni aggregates the entire accessible internet to analyse in-depth information and create unique and exclusive databases for its users. Gieni can rapidly develop an entirely new knowledge base about a specific sector or subsector, which would otherwise have to be created by humans through extensive scientific and research work. An AI chatbot such as Gemini or ChatGPT is limited by predetermined patterns to conducting conversations and responding to queries with predefined answers, and can only search for existing data and answers on the internet. Conversely, as an AI agent, Gieni uses dynamic processes and algorithms to make autonomous decisions and perform more complex tasks independently. AI agents can take proactive actions, while a chatbot is mainly used for customer interaction and support. Uniquely, Gieni aggregates data and can place the content in the right context. Gieni uses techniques such as GraphRag and Large Language Models to not only understand user queries, but also to break them down into their component parts and query them in multiple stages. This means that a single question can trigger several hundred queries simultaneously. For every question that users ask the Gieni Agent, it provides intelligent, in-depth answers and generates clear, interactive dashboards that are visualised with easy-to-understand graphics and diagrams. Orderfox started Gieni as a B2B agent specifically for the manufacturing and mechanical engineering industry. However, Gieni is now able to create specialised databases for all industries, and the company continues to expand the information in each database. The AI adapts to the requirements of these specific industries and can therefore develop a deep understanding of each sector. ## Partfox: Innovative AI solutions for industry Through Partfox, Orderfox offers a solution that is revolutionising the procurement process in the manufacturing industry. As the world's largest AI-based CNC network, Partfox optimises the networking of manufacturing companies and enables a direct connection between manufacturers and buyers. The platform takes into account technology and production requirements, materials, tolerances, surface finishes and inspection standards to find the ideal match. By automating the matching process, procurement processes can be accelerated by up to 40 per cent. Partfox not only serves the CNC industry, but also covers the entire metalworking sector as well as the processing of plastics and wood. > **Timur Göreci, CRO at Orderfox Schweiz AG**, on the valuation: > "Our company valuation of over one billion euros marks a significant milestone and illustrates the strength of our technology. Thanks to the unique technology of Gieni, the AI B2B agent now provides in-depth market insights into all industrial sectors by creating specialised databases. --- ### DAX 40 Job Analysis: Data Specialists Are More in Demand Than AI Experts by a Large Margin **Date**: 27/11/2024 | **Category**: Market Intelligence Of 606 open positions at DAX 40 companies, 474 were for data specialists and 132 for AI roles. The demand for data specialists is almost 260% higher. Discover the full analysis. Companies rely on IT specialists to make use of large amounts of data in order to make well-informed decisions, optimize processes and gain a competitive edge. This is reflected in the high demand for specialists in the fields of data and AI — even in DAX 40 companies. In total, we have found 606 open positions in Germany-based companies for positions such as data analysts, data scientists, AI software engineers and AI specialists. These findings were discovered in our analysis of job postings, which we conducted with our B2B AI Gieni. ## Significantly more vacancies for "data jobs" than "AI jobs" Of the 606 vacancies, 474 were for positions for data specialists and 132 for AI-related professions. The demand for data specialists is therefore almost 260 percent higher. Accordingly, data jobs account for 91 per cent of job vacancies in the two researched specialist areas at DAX 40 companies. The focus of the hiring of DAX 40 companies therefore seems to be more on the area of "data" and less on "AI". However, this is not the case for all companies: at Daimler Truck, the ratio of Data to AI professions is quite clear: here the focus is on AI jobs at 75 per cent, at VW it is 67 per cent, at Infineon 53 per cent, at SAP 52 per cent and at BMW 51 per cent. By contrast, the situation is balanced at Adidas, Continental and Vonovia, where just as many data and AI specialists are being sought. ## BMW and E.ON are looking for the most data and AI experts With 72 vacancies, BMW is currently looking for more support in the areas of AI and data than any other DAX company. The car manufacturer has advertised almost the same number of positions in both areas: 35 for "Data" and 37 for "AI". E.ON follows with 48 vacancies, with a clear focus on data with 45 positions. Zalando is in third place with 47 vacancies, 43 of which are for data jobs. In contrast, Porsche and Sartorius currently have no need for data and AI specialists. Of their total of three and 30 vacancies respectively, none are in these areas. Qiagen, Symrise, Covestro, and Bayer also appear to be focusing less on data and AI at the moment or already have hired enough specialists in the company. Each of these companies is only looking for one person in the area of data. ## Data analysts are the most sought-after The most sought-after IT and data specialists at the DAX 40 companies currently are **Data Analysts**: We found 117 advertised vacancies — 18 of them at BMW, 14 at Allianz and 11 at E.ON. **Data Engineers** are in second place with 95 vacancies. Zalando and Deutsche Bank have the greatest demand in this area, with 14 vacancies each. E.ON follows with ten vacancies. Coming in third place are the 73 **Business Intelligence Analysts** being sought. Deutsche Bank leads the way in this area with 17 vacancies, followed by Deutsche Börse with seven. The first AI professions follow in seventh and eighth place: A total of 37 **AI Specialists** and 33 **AI Researchers** are being sought at the researched companies. The demand for AI specialists is highest at Mercedes-Benz and SAP, with seven and six vacancies, respectively. AI Researchers are particularly in demand at BMW (14 positions), followed by Siemens and Porsche (four positions each). --- ### International Startup Market Analysis: How Much Has Been Invested in AI Companies in Recent Years? **Date**: 28/11/2024 | **Category**: Market Intelligence In the last five years alone, around 536 AI start-ups worldwide have gathered a total of $41.5 billion in investments, putting the AI sector in seventh place in our ranking of start-up sectors. Welcome to the New Era of Real-Time Market Intelligence! **Date**: 23/09/2025 | **Category**: Product Spotlights Today, we launch Gieni 3.0 — the most powerful version of our platform to date. With its integration into Microsoft Teams, Gieni now lives inside the tools your teams already use, transforming routine conversations into revenue-generating insight. If you've ever felt like market research takes too long, costs too much, and still somehow misses the mark, you're not alone. Traditional methods were built for a slower world, where quarters felt like years and "strategy" meant a static slide deck. But business doesn't move that way anymore and neither does Gieni. Today, we're proud to launch Gieni 3.0, the most powerful version of our platform to date. What makes this release a real turning point is its integration with Microsoft Teams. In simple terms: Gieni now lives inside the tools your teams already use, transforming routine conversations into revenue-generating insight. No more toggling between dashboards and chats. No more bottlenecks between discovery and decision-making. With Gieni 3.0, the entire intelligence cycle happens in real-time and right inside your workflow. ## Intelligence Without the Interruption The real innovation isn't just better data (although we've doubled down on that too). It's how that intelligence reaches you. Gieni 3.0 eliminates the gap between insight and action by embedding specialized AI agents trained for specific industries directly into your team's natural environment. You don't have to open a separate portal or email a report request. You can simply ask, "What competitors are entering the diagnostics market in Scandinavia?" right in your Teams channel, and Gieni will return a precise, up-to-the-minute analysis. As our CEO Derek Tanner put it, "The real breakthrough isn't just having better intelligence, it's having it where your team already works." And now, thanks to our deep partnership with Microsoft, that's exactly what Gieni delivers. ## Built for the World's Most Fragmented Markets Most market intelligence platforms are built with consumer tech or broad finance in mind. But those markets are relatively consolidated. Gieni was designed differently from the ground up, for the *industrial world*, where fragmentation is the norm, and complexity rules. Here, information is scattered across regions, languages, regulatory environments, and hyper-niche sectors. Whether you're navigating fragmented manufacturing supply chains, tracking fragmented M&A landscapes in healthcare, or mapping fast-emerging, fragmented EV component ecosystems, Gieni's multi-agent architecture is tuned to the nuances of each vertical. From automotive to pharma, finance to energy, each agent gets smarter over time by constantly learning from our proprietary dataset, including 6.7 million validated company profiles and an ongoing aggregation of over 380 million websites. This means when Gieni surfaces a trend or recommends a partnership, it's not guesswork. It's deep, contextual insight grounded in a mountain of real-time data, delivered instantly, *even in the world's most fragmented markets.* ## From Insight to Impact, Without Leaving the Chat They can identify market gaps, evaluate potential partners, or validate expansion strategies on the fly, all within the same chat they were already using to plan next week's product rollout. And for commercial teams, Gieni 3.0 goes a step further. It plugs directly into your CRM, enriching contact and account data with real-world intelligence. The result? Your sales and marketing teams can identify expansion opportunities within existing relationships, before the competition even knows they exist. ## Instant Activation, Global Reach Gieni 3.0 is available right now through Microsoft AppSource, which means it can be activated instantly by any organization using Microsoft Teams. No separate software, no complicated onboarding. Just smart, contextual insight where and when it matters. And because we're built for enterprise, Gieni scales fast across regions, departments, and industries, without disrupting your internal workflows or analytics stack. Ready to meet your new competitive edge? --- ### Inside EMO Hannover 2025: What We Brought, What We Learned, and What's Coming Next **Date**: 30/09/2025 | **Category**: Events & Conferences There's something about EMO Hannover that pushes the entire manufacturing world forward. With over 1,500 exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors, EMO 2025 wasn't just a trade fair — Gieni AI was right there, sparking real conversations about industrial intelligence in the age of AI. There's something about EMO Hannover that pushes the entire manufacturing world forward and this year's edition, celebrating its 50th anniversary, was no exception. With over 1,500 exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors from across the globe, EMO 2025 wasn't just a trade fair, it was an energy source and Gieni AI was right there, plugged in, fully charged and sparking real conversations about what industrial intelligence looks like in the age of AI. So what did we bring to the party? A lot more than a booth and a few flashy graphics. We came with a mission: to show that market research and CRM workflows in manufacturing don't have to be slow, outdated, or gut-feeling-driven anymore. And judging by the response, we weren't the only ones tired of Excel spreadsheets and generic market PDFs. Our Microsoft Teams integration turned heads. Visitors watched us extract real-time market dashboards and competitor insights directly from a document or inbox. It wasn't a gimmick. It was instant, usable data, right where their teams work every day. Equally exciting was our Gieni Reports demo. We weren't just talking about lead enrichment or market expansion in theory, we were doing it live. In several cases, attendees discovered entirely new market segments they hadn't considered before, right there at the booth. One visitor called it "better than a consultant and faster than a coffee refill." We'll take that. Another hit? Our instant Report Generation Agent insights. Attendees could request hyper-specific market snapshots, like the "Asian CNC Machining Landscape" or "European Tool-Wear Innovations" and receive a full report in under ten minutes. These weren't generic templates, either. They were AI-driven, data-validated, and immediately actionable. The kind of insights that don't sit in a drawer, they go straight into boardroom strategy slides. But beyond the demos, this week was about people. Our interactive 1-on-1's created real moments of learning and exchange, from conversations on AI prompt design for market research to deeper dives into how companies can integrate big data into their CRM workflows. With only limited seats per session, the conversations got specific, and the feedback was gold. We're already incorporating much of it into our next roadmap cycle. We left Hannover with dozens of new users, several exciting partnership leads, and more than a few requests to bring Gieni into company-wide digital transformation initiatives. Not bad for five days. To everyone who visited us, challenged us, or simply stayed to chat — thank you. You helped validate our belief that industrial AI shouldn't be locked behind complexity or buzzwords. It should be practical, precise and dare we say, even enjoyable to use. If you missed us, don't worry. We're already planning follow-up sessions, rolling out early access for select features, and looking for more companies ready to co-create with us. Gieni AI isn't just a tool, it's becoming the infrastructure for industrial market intelligence. And trust us, this was only the beginning. --- ### Your Market Agent Just Landed in Microsoft Copilot.
